Sereina focused on her photography and shared her sewing and oragami projects. Tiana shared her sewing and crochet projects and showed some of the tap dance steps she taught herself recently. Alina shared pictures of what she does to care for the chickens, beaded jewelry she had made and stories she is working on. Daniel focused primarily on his many Lego creations and some of the things he has learned from "The Dangerous Book for Boys" one of the most recent things being a new chess move that he learned and mastered.
Here is Tiana performing one of her tap steps.
Marilyn and Barbie talking about some of the many Poling drawings that they shared.
The Polings shared many of the detailed and crafty family projects they have given as gifts.
Here Nancy is talking about some of the projects her family has made as gifts too.
Here Christi is talking about the projects her boys have been working on.
Something the Poling and Lama families do is a form of folk dance, which is right up Sereina's alley. She learned to Contra Dance last year, which is very similar. Recently the rest of my kids learned to dance when we were at the Poling's and have been looking for more opportunities to dance.
So much fun!
